Cooking Tallow
Rendered in small batches from beef raised here on our fourth-generation ranch, our single ingredient Cooking Tallow is a traditional cooking fat naturally rich in vitamins A, D, E, K, and B1.
With a smoke point of 420°F, it’s ideal for searing steaks, crisping potatoes, frying eggs, roasting vegetables, or cooking on cast iron and flat tops. It can be used in place of seed oils, vegetable oils, or butter, bringing rich flavor and a whole-food approach back to your cooking.
Our Cooking Tallow is shelf stable and can be left on the countertop in a cool, dry place, or refrigerated if you prefer. Allow tallow to come to room temperature before using.
